Excuse me while I geek out

About Battlestar Galactica, of course! This week, SciFi Channel aired a commercial-length preview of the upcoming BSG TV-movie, "Razor," and it looks amazingly awesome. Exactly what they should be doing at this moment, referencing the rich past and adding layers to future episodes. In case you haven't seen it yet, behold!

WTF is that? A separate movie? I'm confused...

I know next season is its last. Is this movie between seasons?

hey august!

yeah, it's a between-season extra-long episode. TV-movie, if you will.

I was really wondering how they were going to make a whole story exist out of continuity and I guess dipping into the past is how.

I think SciFi Channel is going to like this TV-movie thing. it's something big to promote and they can put a lot of money into. Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum are on the horizon.

Sounds fun. =)

This all will prepare you for the next Star-Trek movie, hehe. Kirk and Spock at the academy!

That trek dry-spell didn't last too long, eh?

ugh, prequels are so over. my excitement over new Trek is tempered by past experiences. still, JJ Abrams. I'll go in there with an open mind.
